Rooted in Memory: The Susan and Murray Armitage Scholarship

Oct. 09, 2020

Established in 2019 by Susan Armitage Vic 6T4 to honour her late husband, Murray Armitage Vic 6T2, The Susan and Murray Armitage Scholarship reflects a heartfelt and special connection to Victoria College. The scholarship’s emphasis on the importance of education reminds us all that access to higher learning is truly a privilege, and that we have a responsibility to pay it forward for future generations. “Vic offered me an opportunity to soak up all the knowledge that was available to me and helped define my career path,” Susan says. “Education sets the tone for your life-long learning and career. Vic provided this to both Murray and me: this is why it is important for me to give back to the place that helped start both of our successful careers.” The recipient of The Susan and Murray Armitage Scholarship is one who has achieved excellence during the course of their academic pursuits, with special consideration given to those in financial need.
