Student Research Opportunities

Victoria College is an intellectual community that encourages innovative thinking. One way the College does this is by supporting and promoting opportunities for our undergraduates to pursue independent research projects.

Scholars-in-Residence

The Scholars-in-Residence (SiR) program is an intensive four-week residency in interdisciplinary humanities and humanistic social-science research for upper-year undergraduates, that was created at Victoria College.

Shaftesbury Creative Writer-in-Residence

Each year, Victoria College appoints an exceptional writer as the Shaftesbury Creative Writer-in-Residence. This role supports the teaching and learning that takes place in the Creative Expression and Society program and the Norman Jewison Stream of the Vic One program, and helps to foster creative citizenship among the Victoria College community.
