The Vic Ready Program
Are you ready for life after Vic? Whether you are launching your career, continuing your education, or carving your own path, the Vic Ready (VR) Program is here to help you move forward with purpose—equipped with the tools, resources, and skills you need to achieve your personal and professional goals.
We know the future can be exciting, overwhelming, and full of possibilities. We want to make sure you are ready—Vic Ready.
Through interactive modules, one-on-one advising, peer discussion, and networking opportunities, Vic Ready guides you through reflection, exploration and skill development for your personal and professional success now and in the future.
You can participate in the program at your own pace and connect with a supportive network of peers, staff, faculty and alumni. Our goal is to help you graduate with confidence, clarity and a sense of direction.
How to Get Started
Your first step is to register for a VR Bootcamp. Offered at several points during the academic year, both online and in person, this four-day experience features eight interactive modules focused on skill development, self-reflection, and personal narration. The program concludes with a structured networking opportunity where you can apply and practice your skills in a supportive environment. Participants gain access to a community of peers and staff advisors, with individualized advising available through to graduation.
The VR Bootcamp is open to all Victoria College students and serves as the foundational curriculum for the Vic Ready program. Upon completion, you will receive information about specialized programming and an invitation to join a VR Community starting in the Fall semester.

Vic Ready Offerings
Following the VR Bootcamp, you will work with a staff advisor to plan the rest of your Vic Ready experience. By selecting opportunities of interest to you, you decide the direction of your learning, be it graduate or professional school, a career of interest, or an open exploration of multiple paths and possibilities. In the 2025–2026 academic year, we are offering the following opportunities:
- VR Communities
Small group sessions led by a VR Advisor and focused on a stream of interest to help prepare you for a specific path, such as employment after graduation, applying to graduate school, or exploring your career and experiential engagement options. This year, we are offering the following groups
- Education Community (Oct. 1 - 22, 2025)
- Exploration Community (Nov. 6 - 27, 2025)
- Career Community (Jan. 14 – Feb. 11, 2026)
Each Community will take place weekly over the course of one month during the academic year. This series is only offered to students who have completed the VR Bootcamp.
- VR Lunch & Link
A monthly networking opportunity where special guests, including faculty, staff, alumni and current graduate students, join students to share their educational and professional experiences and answer questions over a meal. This series is offered to all Victoria College students. - VR Mentorship Experience
An opportunity for students to connect with faculty members, graduate students, or alumni in their field of interest through an informal one-on-one mentorship. This opportunity is only offered to students who have completed the VR Bootcamp. - VR Presents Series
