As most classes return to in-person please read the important information below about COVID-19 protocols, space access and the onsite support services available to you. 

Student Services Offices

The Office of the Registrar and Academic Advising (located at 73 Queen's Park Crescent, Northrop Frye Hall 106) offers advising, learning supports (including learning strategies, writing centre, peer tutoring) and in-person frontline support. Contact the Office of the Registrar and Academic advising at vic.registrar@utoronto.ca.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m.

The Office of the Dean of Students (located at the Goldring Student Centre, 150 Charles St W) offers career advising, personal counselling, international student support, campus life information, and in-person residence support, student life, and front-line support. Contact us at vic.dean@utoronto.ca.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The E.J. Pratt Library (located at 71 Queen’s Park Crescent East) offers drop-in quiet study space for students.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Goldring Student Centre

The Goldring Student Centre is open as a drop-in study space. Ned's Cafe is open for take-out only. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Please check in at the lobby desk when you arrive.

Please note, masking requirements and “green screens” through UCheck remain in place for any individual who enters Victoria University buildings until at least April 30, 2022.

GOLDRING STUDENT CENTRE (Effective Monday, March 14, 2022)

  • No capacity limits in GSU study spaces, hallways, elevators & washrooms
  • Increased furniture in lounge/atrium spaces
  • Ned’s Café remains open for take-out  

STUDENT EATING AREA (Effective Wednesday, March 16, 2022)

  • The Regent’s Foyer on the second floor of the GSU opens to students as an eating space
  • Furniture in this area is configured for two-metre distancing and space capacity is posted 
  • The eating space can be accessed throughout the day during building opening hours as posted.

 

Masks can be removed temporarily for eating/drinking while physically distanced.

Please finish your drink/food promptly and put your mask back on as soon as you have finished eating and drinking. Do not linger for long periods with a beverage.

Since the onset of COVID-19 almost 2 years go, we have prioritized the health and safety of our students and community. As the province moves toward a long-term approach to managing COVID-19, Victoria will remain committed to supporting an environment that creates healthy and safe spaces for our students, staff, and faculty.  We would like to remind and encourage you to continue following guidelines as posted and to do more if it makes you feel comfortable, or if it helps the people around you. As we have all learned, this is not a “one-size-fits-all” experience.
